Our diagnostic work is charged as follows. There is an initial charge of £55 for the first hour to cover the 'basic checks'. For this, we will carry out a basic inspection and check of the car's service records. We check for any fault codes and take measurements from the engine sensors.

Any further diagnostic work is charged at our normal hourly rate.


Some typical examples of faults we see are:

• Vauxhall Vectra Engine light on (Faulty crank angle sensor)
• Renault Megane fuel pump relay
• MoT failure on emissions (Failed Lambda or Oxygen sensor, possible failed Cat)
